Most of you should remember the incredible sculpture that Kanye West produced for the music video of his track “Famous.” Featuring everyone naked, including George W. Bush, Donald Trump, Anna Wintour, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Ray J, Amber Rose, Caitlyn Jenner, Bill Cosby, and of course Taylor Swift, the video created a lot of controversy when it released earlier this year.
The sculpture is a 5.17 meters marble statue standing stark-naked and is considered a representation of the Biblical David, a highly esteemed subject in Florence art. Initially, the sculpture was commissioned among a series which was to be placed high up on the Florence Cathedral façade; while in fact, it was taken to the public square at the Palazzo Della Signoria.
